Clean and Friendly I'm a new member, but I have found the Big C to be clean and everyone is really friendly. It would be nice if they were open on sundays, but the hours seem pretty convenient other than that
Big C Athletic Club is heaven for me and my kids Now open Sunday and with the child care my son is safe and begs me to take him so this works out great for me a mom of 3.
Honest Review The Big C tried to update their facility to mixed results. Posting possibly a hundred "no cell phones" signs throughout the club as well as other new "rules" didn't go over well with the members. Their new strict school prinicipal policy certainly didn't make established members very happy as they witnessed the club they held close for so many years begin to lose the one thing that seperated it from other fitness clubs: attentiveness to members needs and happiness. 5 Star all the way! I am a long time member of The Big C and I am excited about the new changes in management and think they are not only positive, but have the best interests of all our members. The new Sunday hours are so appreciated as is the new Child Care program. I have participated in the Zumba and Nia classes as well as Spinning and many other group classes that our club has to offer. Great place Have been with the club for about a year now. If you company has a tieup with this club, the prices are really affordable. The facilities are really great and the staff is very approachable and knowledgeable. The club holds a lot of activities and tournmants which are fun. The only downside is that it is not open on Sundays and it does not have many other centres. Overall a must join if you can afford travelling to concord and wanna have some fun while staying in shape.
More than just a gym is an unpaid ad I have been a member for about 8 years and the place has changed for the worse recently. It is still clean and has all of the amenities. What is missing is the friendliness and comfortable feeling being there. They seem to be trying to make it fancy (new fancy restaurant that members can't even use unless they get dressed up) and more casual (this Friday and Saturday they had a tournament with a bunch of kids all over the place). Just telling the truth The review titled "More than just a gym" had to be posted by senior staff working at the Big C. It has that phony smell of an ad. written by the management. The truth is the club has really slipped from its' glory days. Clean, good staff, they did spend some money to fix up an aging site that costs a lot and is closed 52 Sunday's each year. For the prices they charge your hard earned money can get what they have at 5 - 10 other clubs for half the cost.
