Joe assembled and tuned two E-bikes straight from the box for me. Both Urtopia Carbon Fusion GT E-Bikes. Fantastic service that there is no way I could have done myself. Price was very reasonable for the amount of work he did and knowledge that he shared with me an my wife. If you get an e-bike shipped to your house - don't waste your time or risk your safety trying to do everything yourself. Call Joe and get it done right.
I was going to buy a used bike that needed a chain adjustment according to the add. I called to see what the price was to fix that part and he was the only place I called that gave me a rough idea of what it would cost, what else could be wrong, and even specifics about the bike. I ended up not buying that bike (it will cost more than buying a well maintained after fixing it and still have the rest of the bike not maintained) and am looking for a better condition used one. I'm so lucky that The Bicycle Fixer came to my workplace today and provided tune-ups for myself and my colleagues. Joe was so thorough and my e-bike is now in the best shape it's ever been! As an added bonus, I learned all sorts of tips about how to take better care of my bike and get the best performance from it - Joe has an incredible depth of knowledge that he is happy to share.
