The International Rescue Committee is there whenever disasters strike people, whether it's weather or war or whatever. They provide shelter and food and medical treatment or whatever is needed. I happily support them with monthly donations, and when I'm aware of sudden tragic human needs, I send them more. It makes me feel that through their work, I'm helping, too.
