24 years ago, today, Dr. Bethencourt operated on my 8 month old, 13 pound son, Trevor. This wonderful doctor and his team repaired an A/V canal defect that Trevor was born with. Dr. Bethencourt, Trevor is "pushing" 25 now and doing great!! Thank you for every second of health that he now enjoys!! The Good Lord and you make quite a team!!
Dr. Bethencourt is a brilliant heart surgeon.
This man saved my life.
Horrific. My father went in for heart surgery to repair is titanium heart valve under Dr. Bethencourt. Shortly after the procedure, he was put into a medically induced coma because of the surgery complications. We were promised 2 nurses over the night and a doctor on call to make sure he survives the night. We only had one nurse for my father and the doctors who were "on call" would not return calls on time. My fathers condition deteriorated over the night and the hospital failed to provided the human resources to save him. ... read more
Dr. Bethencourt is a great surgeon. He has exceptional bedside manners and explained the surgery in a way that was easy to understand. Dad had cardiac bypass x 5. His team was also awesome.
