What a great class, super fun and interesting - making a ring from scratch. We started in copper then made a silver ring, and we learnt how to soften the metal with a blow torch, clean, solder and polish at the end. Liz was a very passionate and helpful tutor. 👏💍
Have had the most amazing time at The Bench - absolutely incredible tuition and the facilities and equipment are fantastic. Erin is an incredible teacher and I’ve learned so much from her. I can’t wait to come back next year for more courses. As a self taught jeweller working with her has improved my gemstone setting immensely, but the most valuable thing it has given me is a sense of community. I got a gift certificate for Christmas and arranged to attend the silver ring making course! It was so much fun and I was a little devo when it finished. Erin was wonderful, engaging and helpful. It was also a great Christmas present idea!!!
I had such a fantastic experience here. The instructors are lovely, patient, and explain things really clearly, which makes it so enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming and has good vibes. I felt supported the whole time. I enjoyed the course so much that I’ve already signed up for three more. Highly recommend to anyone interested in jewellery making!
