We recently dined here expecting a high-end experience given the reputation of the hotel, but unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. I’ll start by saying this: we didn’t have a bad stay, but I have a bone to pick which led to this 3 star review. My husband gifted us a night at The Ben for our anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and serviced was lovely but he upgraded us and paid extra for a “city view”. Please refer to the attached photo for the “view” in question. It was an alley. Don’t book this hotel through a third party they will try and scam you and double charge you… Overall location is great rooms are ok as long as they don’t put you in their handicap set up I think they can be nice. The front desk people are completely clueless rude and unfriendly. Won’t stay here again just because the customer service is awful. Got my money back through the third party but just be aware they will try and scam you while being rude about it.

The best part about this hotel is that dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, there’s terribly loud music playing all the time. So if you’d like to sleep, don’t stay here. The cleaning staff also woke me up in the middle of the day when I was trying to take a nap. Not because they were trying to get to the room because they were having a very loud conversation while they were cleaning other rooms.
