Due to many of the same issues in previous reviews, would not recommend this law firm. Never returned calls, would go several days/weeks before even a returned email. Ultimately had to go elsewhere.
I recently fired Mr. Bellinger as my attorney. I got tired of phone calls not returned. Him not being available for days and nobody in his odd shared office space not knowing where or when he will be back. As a woman he just kinda gave me the creeps personally. He would seem to look and stare at me inappropriately. I definitely can't say I think he is professional in his appearance and how he acts.
i agree totally with the reviews here. quoted me at $3000 assured me we shouldnt even get close to that. we went to court one time in which he actually said to my ex-wife's attorney "it's your town bev, what do you want?" then proceeded to give her everything she demanded. THEN DEMANDED MORE MONEY FROM ME after 4000 i got 1 supervised hour with my children. he never listened or kept a promise or returned a phone call then put in his motion to withdraw two days before i needed to be in court. I tried using Robert Bellinger and it was a disaster. My calls were not returned on time. The fees were not what I was initially quoted. I found him to be very unprofessional. He doesn't keep normal office hours and has one of those boarding house office spaces that he shares with other people. Sort of like a youth hostel.
He was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an attorney. He never returns calls. He promises things and then seems to forget his promises. Retaining him made me feel like I was married again, in a bad way. He didn't listen. He forgot everything he promised. I would surely not recommend hiring him.
Robert Bellinger is unprofessional and gouges his clients in my opinion. He doesn't return phone calls. His bills are really high and he doesn't seem to be able to justify his "time" which is my money. Ultimately he was ineffective. He doesn't even have his own office. He uses one of those shared office spaces like college students use when they start a business except he is not a young man starting a business.
