Much smaller than I expected! I had read lots of ads and articles about the Beauty Mark on Charles St. in Beacon Hill, so I headed out there. I was interested in seeing some of the more unique products that I'd heard they sell. Getting here can be a little tricky by car, as there really isn't much parking available in Beacon Hill. I was surprised at how small this shop is. The sales person was very friendly and helpful, but I just expected more products and more unique stuff.
Great Products I have been to the store once. The sales people were very friendly. The store is tiny, but has a ton of products from hard to find brands. They also carry delicate jewelery made by local designers.

Excellent Customer Service and products – The space is small, which really lends itself to really personalized customer service. The gals there know their skincare lines, and they reallly do carry the best lines. I'm hooked on skinceuticals, and my face thanks me. They also carry BLINGS! which are always fabulous.
Expert brow shaping – Brow shaping wizards. I have tried everything from waxing to threading, and this is definitely the best shape I've had in years. Good old fashioned plucking and meticulous attention to detail. One caveat is that it takes almost an hour, but only because they are perfectionists.

Staff Attitude - Just So So – OK, I admit it, I have a thing about people working retail being nice to customers - especially in upscale retail. The two associates who were working the other day did greet me when I walked in but then seemed more interested in each other than whether I needed help. At checkout I was barely acknowledged and things were just jammed in a bag. I expect better on Charles. That said, great selection of hard to find makeup brands.
