Went to Sam for waxing, she was absolutely brilliant, first time going to the Beauty Guru and was made to feel totally at ease, despite originally being nervous! Everything was explained beforehand and Sam was friendly and professional throughout, making sure to check in during the treatment. Sam also let me know whether or not other treatments I asked about would be suitable for me. A lot of other salons try to upsell regardless of suitability and I liked that Sam didn’t do that. Lesley was so lovely for my first wax! Made me feel very comfortable, made me laugh and explained everything so I knew what was going on. Would recommend to anyone!

I've been to two other wax technicians previously; one I'd never go back to and the other was OK, but the salon was very busy so you felt a bit 'managed'. Sam is amazing. From the moment she introduced herself I felt at ease. She explained everything that was going to happen as she went. The treatment doesn't hurt (imo), but I'm a bit of a flincher and she was checking in to make sure I was OK throughout. The results were perfect and I feel new job ready for Monday morning. I will absolutely be going back. All the stars!
