Early 1900's home converted to an Inn. Multiple cottages too choose from. You also receive a $10 bkfst voucher to eat at a great bkfst restaurant 3 blks away. Down town is only 4 blocks with a beautiful waterfront park. The staff is always ready to help you if needed.
Among a variety of places we stayed during our vacation to the South Carolina Lowcountry, The Beaufort Inn was our favorite. This place oozes historical charm, offering a wide variety of different and unique rooms right in the heart of downtown. Prime restaurants are only a block away, a 3-5 minute walk, and the waterfront only another minute or two beyond that. Great staff
Was so looking forward to staying here- until check-in. Had never before experienced an un-welcomed feeling. The Cottage bed was so high you had to 'climb' up and into it. The huge bathroom with shower having no temperature control and constantly blew in freezing cold a/c. Shutting that door to try and block out the cold proved challenging because when needed, the extreme cold was like walking into Antarctica. It was the first and only time here.
