Avoid if you are disabled The store seems to have a good assortment of beads; however, it is not fully compliant with the ADA. It is on two levels with no inside ramp. The handicapped parking is about as far from either of the entrances as you can get.

The handicapped parking is about as far from either of the entrances as you can get. The staff is a group of remarkably disinterested young women who have no idea how to help anyone who is physically challenged and who appear to have no interest in even trying. Great Beads Very helpful staff and easily accessible parking. Has a wide range of beads, from Lucite to glass to fine gems. Also a large selction of findings - silver chains, hooks and fasteners. Great for all levels of beaders.

A great store! My mother and I come to Freeport every year (I live in New York, she lives in Florida), and she frequented this store this summer. She wanted to write in response to another review, she was upset by it and all she can talk about is how great the staff is that this store has. This is what she had to say:

New store, friendly staff New store has no steps so easier to move around. It's still located in the same building but on the corner. Beads are abundant and lovely. New manager was very friendly as was the rest of the staff.

Good selection, but help is DESPERATELY lacking warmth. Yes, The Beadin' Path has a vast selection, that's undeniable. Their Lucite collection is bottomless and impressive. Prices are average to slightly higher than average for certain things. Busy shop, too; the floor was full of browsers and potential customers the day I visited.
