I don’t often write reviews but the Beachcomber is such a positive experience I felt I had to. As someone who travels Australia every second week for work, I have seen the good, the bad, and the downright ugly (including bed bugs from FNQ!). The Beachcomber excels expectations with beautifully renovated rooms, above average amenities and those ‘extra’ little things (such as a robe and slippers) which make it more than just ‘somewhere to sleep’. Went for lunch and it's a fantastic place for a meal. Good was very good and well priced. Would definitely recommend.
Just have a beer enjoy the view and leave. (Apparently the food is either miss so I decided to miss)
