Had a fabulous 2-week stay at Beachcomber on Casey Key in Nokomis Florida from mid to end of March 2015. Warmest of welcomes from Tekla and Robert. Lovely furnishings and fabulous sunset view from second floor unit on the beach. Everything accessible. This is OId Florida at its best. Quiet, considerate, genteel, laid back and beautiful sunset views from lanai, Across road is intercoastal. Experience drumming Wed & Sat at Nokomis beach nearby! Easy road and easy on and off bridge to 41. What more could one ask!
Awesome - wonderful stay mid to end of March 2015. Gorgeous sunset views from beautiful unit on the beach. Wonderful warm welcome by owners. Quiet, genteel, laid back - this is Old Florida at its best. Easy on and off bridge to 41. Nokomis beach nearby on same road for Wed & Sat drumming. What's not to like!
Casey Key is great but don't stay here The owners follow you around and are always reminding you to follow all their rules Creepy...
A wonderful place to stay, the owners are fantastic and very accommodating. The location is phenomenal. We live just 10 miles South and our son and daughter-in-law were married here. The most beautiful beach wedding I have ever been to. The rooms/apartments are beautifully cared for and very quaint. We would recommend this to anyone, but specifically adults as there is no pool. If we lived away from the area we would definitely be staying here.
Awesome place if you are looking for a really nice beach and the peace and quiet to enjoy it. All of their rooms are really like apartments, very well kept apartments. The owners/ hosts are REALLY great people, who take pride in their property and their guests experiences. If you are looking for a hotel with lots of services, this is not the place. If you are looking to rent your own beach front apartment and relax...this place is awesome. Last week was our third trip there!
