For being "new england best lobster roll" I was disappointed. Super chewy and not as sweet of lobster meat I've had at other places. Great large portions available, but lackluster quality.
The Portsmouth location is my mother’s favorite place to dine! So, it only seemed appropriate to have 30 of her family members and friends, meet her there for a surprise 75th birthday luncheon….😅 I called a month ahead of time, and was told they’d be happy to accommodate. Omg, this place is the best. This review of for the beach plum in town (Portsmouth) but I’m also posting pics of the one by the beach bc it’s just so cute and nostalgic.
Good, but not top tier. The fish had a noticeably off taste, I’ve never experienced that taste until this meal. The whole belly clams are always inconsistent. I’m not a fan of the tartar sauce. Fries are decent, ice cream is pretty tasty.
The ice cream is gigantic. The red container is a kiddy size. It was super crowded and the line was pretty long. Lobster rolls were good and fresh with a yummy buttered roll but I had shell fragments in mine (4). They are obviously a local favorite. I just wish they were more careful about the shell for a $42 roll
