Not a luxury hotel!! But a clean, tidy and affordable ‘home away from home’. We loved the ocean views, the cafe downstairs (Thursday curry club!!!) and the peace and quiet after the Cairns ‘doof doof’. If you come expecting and air bnb rather than a fancy apartment hotel you’ll not be disappointed. We were stoked to find this place, only 20 mins from Cairns and with a pristine patrolled beach over the road!!! Also, 10/10 for the barista coffee machine!
Master bedroom bed is very old, thin and hard. Has springs in it for example. TV remote sticky taped together. All round good for the price and amenities are clean, kitchen is stoked with all utensils and a coffee machine. The beach is across the road, bar and cafe literally under your feet, and live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, finishing at a respectable time. Privacy respected by friendly and helpful owner/manager.

Asked to leave early after my birthday lunch. Not impressed. Food was good thankfully 👍
Basic apartment. Basics provided for a few days only. No lifts. No reliable wifi. Its worse than a 3rd world country. The whole property is tired, outdated & almost disgusting. There are "beach" views far away & up over the trees if you are tall enough. It is also very noisy from early morning. Many homeless people who live in their cars are all along the front as well.
