Just stayed here in early April 2025 for 4 nights. This is a hotel ON the beach. Absolutely incredible location with good amenities. Longboat Key itself is probably the most low key beach area without all of the crazy buzz of Siesta or AMI while still having immediate access to the city and St. Armands Circle. We stayed in 226 which is on the second floor with a beachfront balcony. The room was gorgeous and clean, with an insane view. Longboat key is amazing. Either side of the island was pretty cool. Water wasn't warm but was manageable. Kids had a great time skimboarding and shell finding
