Located within a shopping complex, little hard to find from the street. Advise using Google maps. Lots of parking, but lots of people, so be prepared to spend time parking. We were allowed to sit in the restaurant with our coffee and treats. We had coffee and cookies, muffin, butter tart brownie, fruit tart. Most all sweets very good. Overall like the place, will definitely plan on coming here regularly. I love the pastry, sandwiches and coffee. Minor annoying thing: what the heck is up with the tip prompt even when doing a quick takeout? Unless I am getting served at my table, I am not leaving a tip. The default tip option listed was like 22%. The only time I would tip that much if I was sitting down and waiter did something extraordinary. Sorry but pouring coffee and putting baked good in a paper bag is not tip worthy.
Bauer Cafe is the perfect place to pick up a coffee and treat! The staff are friendly and very good! Go there regularly and enjoy every visit!
The Bauer Bakery & Cafe was conveniently located along my walk so I stopped by for an espresso drink and I was pleasantly surprised! I've been to the Bauer kitchen multiple times but have never stopped by their cafe. I honestly wasn't expecting too much as the last few espresso based drinks I've ordered have been pretty unimpressive. However, I ordered a cortado and after one sip it brought me back to my days in Rome where I enjoyed delicious and authentic Italian espressos.
