Love this place, great camp spot especially if you can camp lite pack lite or have a boat. Caught legal size fish here (whiting/ bream), great for sunset/ sunrise and all day especially if spring/ autmn, great hike from mackerel beach to West Head lookout. Bbq's and gazebos for rain and sun cover, picnic tables, tiday estuary for kids and adults to swim in. Bioluminescence sometimes.
