If you care about your loved ones, PLEASE think twice before bringing them here. In my personal experience, this has been one of the most heartbreaking and neglectful environments I’ve ever seen. My mother-in-law developed what turned out to be severe scabies, and despite her repeatedly telling the staff that she was itchy and miserable for an entire week, nothing was done. The Barrington is The Absolute Best! My Mother and Father moved here in July 2024. My Father Passed July 2025 and I honestly can't say enough about the Staff and the amazing job that they did during such a sad time. My Mom is currently thriving more and more with each day. Renee, Jay, and The Rest of the Dining Staff is Amazing Too. They are always very attentive to the residents and family members, and the food is absolutely delicious!! The Barrington is definitely well worth More Than 5 Stars! 🥰🤗
Though it has been a rough 6 months for our family , mom has been settling in .I visit every day so I get to see a lot more than most of the staff . Her nurses are amazing and wonderful with her . The food is great and the staff is attentive , sweet and respectful. Irina visits our table every night to check in on how we are doing . She makes sure we are getting whatever help my mom needs . The girls at the desk are always so nice and helping everyone . Even the beginning stages with Vanessa and Ryan were amazing .
Update- my parents have been there for over a year & I’ve been very pleased even with the passing of my dad in July. Felicia was his (our) sunshine while he was passing in those days. There were other staff members who helped a long the way. I have also observed the dining room staff - Jay stands out along with Renee plus the other staff members truly care about the residents. My first time to visit, I was truly appalled at how dirty the facility was plus inside one the apartments. It totally grossed me out, so so bad.
