I have been going to Barrier Reef for years now. The people who work there are experts in aquarium maintenance and care and all the advice is free! I recently purchased a Red Sea Reefer 170 tank and I absolutely love it. They set up the stand for me and recommended the other equipment to go with it. When you buy water they help you out to the car. That is a nice touch. They also come out to the house if you are having a problem. As an aquarist I feel fortunate to have such a great store in my neighborhood.

Second time in a row went in to buy some salt water fish and get a water test and they wouldn't test the water. Stood there about five minutes while the guy tested water for two other guys, then asks if he can help me. I said I was there for a water test and while he's testing their water he told me "we're not doing water tests today"! Needless to say I wasn't going to buy fish from them without a thorough water test. Last time I waste my time driving all the way there! Will be taking my business elsewhere.

My regular spot for all my saltwater supplies and sometimes even livestock. The only specialty place around to carry such a well rounded thorough selection of filter media, chemicals, frozen food, and medications. They're always great to their customers, and have given me quite a few discounts on my larger transactions. Always in stock, always friendly and attentive. Great store.
