I lived at The Barracks for three years, and overall I really enjoyed living here. The location, amenities, and community were great, and I had a positive experience for the majority of my lease. My biggest complaint was maintenance and the lack of communication when larger issues occurred. The units are older, so maintenance requests were fairly common. Lived here for the last 4 years & honestly have had a great experience up until moving out. While doing the pre move out inspection they found that my sink stopper was broken & took it upon themselves to replace it for me & proceeded to charge me over $50 for it… I was planning on changing it before I moved out but instead they are trying to money grab & overcharge people. I called & they told me I needed to email the maintenance department. After emailing them, I have yet to hear back after 24 hours.

It’s a very nice neighborhood. The maintenance people are quick and fix things right. The houses are very nice inside and out. I enjoyed living here.

Without question, this is the worst place I have ever lived. After living at two different properties managed by The Arena Group (The Barracks Townhomes and The Harbor at The Barracks), it’s clear the common denominator is the management company. I will never lease with them again. Before management inevitably responds by blaming the tenant, as they seem to do on nearly every negative review, I have dated photos, videos, emails, voicemails, and recorded phone calls documenting every issue mentioned here.
