Dreamt date night spot with cocktails
The Barnacle is a gem of a cocktail bar in Eastsound. The menu is fun and creative, the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The interior is pretty small, so you might need to wait, and in summertime there is outdoor, dog-friendly seating. There are some small plates/charcuterie board food options, but drinks are definitely the focus.
We had three nights on Orcas and went to The Barnacle every night. It's cozy and intimate and the drinks are delicious. We will be back the second we are able to make it to the San Juans again.
The Barnacle on Orcas Island is an absolute must-visit and I don't say that lightly. I didn't need any special insights to know this place is a winner from the moment I walked in. The cocktails are genuinely exceptional expertly crafted and easily some of the best I've had anywhere. But what truly sets The Barnacle apart is the incredible hospitality.
