Absolutely disgraceful. Do an econsult as per what you are told to do, tells me that can’t be dealt with this way and to call the surgery. Call the surgery to have the receptionist (obviously who think they are doctors) ask me the problem. I tell them it is private, told that they can not book an appointment without knowing, it is clear that an appointment is needed as the econsult has said that it can not deal with the request due to me answering the questions and it telling me I need an urgent appointment. Went on the online consultation only to be told that I need to seek out medical advice myself. The fact that the medication I require needs to be prescribed and I can’t get past the auto consultation. Guess I’ll be buying online “again”
Impossible to see a doctor. Recently had a problem that needed attention. Econsult threw me out. Went in in person and they booked me for triage the next day. Got a phone message the next day, saying I had an appointment in 10 mins - which is stupid considering I live 20 mins away. Tried to phone - 10th in queue. Considering the waiting room is always empty, wonder what anyone there is doing?
Will the nurse and doctors at this surgery are great, helpful, polite and professional the general running of the surgery is poor. Evrry appointment I have had has been late by 10 mins or more the most was 45 mins. I understand patients need a longer appointment but taking 3 times as long as the appointment time is ridiculous, there are other patients waiting and for me I take time out of work to see the doctor and I don't get paid for the time I don't work so I lose money.
