We had our reception at Barker house in July. It is a very lovely place, and their food that we chose was excellent! However, we had many problems with our team and the management was very unorganized. We felt that we were not a priority whatsoever! I attended a wedding at this venue this past weekend and am offering feedback from the perspective of a guest. The reception was scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m., and we were among the first to arrive. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks that had been left out in direct sunlight; the ice had melted, and several beverages contained insects. I've had some really fun wedding days at The Barker House. Nestled in Scituate, it's a great location for a wedding. Cozy cocktail hour space, beautiful reception room, and the grounds around the property all make for great photo opportunities throughout the day. The staff is always friendly and easy to work with, and I'm always happy when I get the chance to photograph another wedding here.
We just had our wedding here. I must say it was amazing. Leila was our coordinator. She was amazing. Always checking in. The decorations were fantastic. The way they were put together. Reagan did fantastic and Paige. Lily and Andrea were great servers. Andrew had fun with my husband about soccer lol. The bar was nice with Chris and camryn.
