I came in and sat for an hour and received no service.
The Bar Uptown is such a wonderful neighborhood spot. The bartenders are top-notch — attentive, personable and professional. And the food isn't just bar food. The smashburger? Craveable. The wings? Kickass. If I had to find something to complain about? I *wish* there were nachos on the menu and Guinness on tap. All that said, I want to respond directly to one man's one-star review. First time here. Ordered a cocktail, should have been served in a tall rocks glass, got a smaller. Got wings that were mostly burnt. The blue cheese dressing was soupy and had no blue cheese. The bar tender tryed halping by bringing blue cheese crumbles and a straw to mix with the soupy dressing. The seasoning choices were not great. Very noisy. I won't return.
