Terrible provider. There premier Banyans rehab facility will not allow you to bring prescribed medicinal cannabis into it as they just have a pharma agenda of prescription of meds. Especially targeting DVA patients at a cost to govt $15k for stay. They beat around the bush and don’t answer questions directly, avoiding the subject will I be forced into meds. They answer is undoubtably a yes, you will leave with a script or a jab. Linked to Pharma.
I attended The Banyans Medical Centre in Bowen Hills seeking coordinated veteran healthcare support and specialist referral management. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. To be fair, Nurse Jasmine was exceptional. She was professional, compassionate, thorough, and genuinely attentive throughout my initial appointment. Dr Nerissa Naidoo is the absolute best! Thanks for taking the time to explain the minutia of my BCC to me, your care in the biopsy and talking at length about treatment options over the phone post path results. I wish she was my everything doctor! She took what could possibly be a confronting experience as a first (albeit super minor) cancer diagnosis and made me feel educated and confident. 💛
I accidentally arrived on the wrong day nevertheless the receptionist kindly managed to fit me. Dr Nerissa Naidoo was professional, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. She explained everything in detail, educated me and made me feel comfortable. Easily the best GP experience i’ve had from the moment i walked in. Thank you very much i’ll be back !
