Been waiting for a month for Baltimore Life to process a death claim. I'm told there is a high volume of claims being processed and it is taking longer than usual to process. This lead me to believe that they do not have the staff or there is a financial issue with this company. The claim was faxed to them on August 24. I called a few days later and was told they had everything and the claims person would be reviewing the information. This insurance company is the word! They flag your claim for any reason not to pay. Shawna is the absolute worst!! Should not be employed by anyone or any other company. The hold times are always over 45 minutes and when you get someone they answer with such attitude. Miranda from Legal doesn’t return calls and each time you try reaching out to her the automatically says she’s in a meeting.
