Pain suises looks fabulous. The filling could use a bit more vanilla cream. Will come back for other treats.
I enjoy the bakery. I’ve been to this place multiple times. My only issue with the customer service is that employees never seem happy. Never have I been greeted, its simply what can I get for you. No smiles, no hello or good morning or any greetings. I expect my baker next door to feel welcomed with a simple “Good morning, thanks for coming in” have you tried our scones?” As for baked goods I have no complains. I enjoy the sourdough bread and all other pastries.
Finding reliable parking in downtown Redwood City can sometimes be a challenge, but I easily secured a spot in a lot just a short two-minute walk from the bakery. Arriving around 8:30 AM, the morning rush was already in full swing, creating a vibrant, high-energy bustle. Despite the crowd, the interior feels incredibly warm, open, and inviting.
