We recently held my mother’s celebration of life at The Backyard on Aberdeen, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Aida’s food and service were exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious, and handled with care. She went above and beyond to support us during a very emotional time and truly helped take the stress off our shoulders. The space was warm and welcoming, and the entire day felt thoughtfully looked after. I would highly recommend Aida and The Backyard on Aberdeen for any event.
We had the Back Yard on Aberdeen bring us catering for our staff Christmas dinner, the food was delicious, brought in a large warming unit that was as hot as coming out of the oven. The tray portions were more than what was expected. Fresh salads and fantastic deserts! If you need any catering , these folks are doing it right!
Beautiful venue, good food, but poorly organized. Many details were omitted that were important to my daughter & her husband. Their excuse was they weren't the "wedding planner." However, no one organized the guests entering, the main door was to be locked so the guests wound not enter the hall (as wedding was outside), microphone was not tweaked and couldn't be used during the vows. The Backyard on Aberdeen is a beautiful venue the outdoor pergola, greenery, and indoor/outdoor setup are stunning, and the food was excellent. Sadly, our overall experience fell far below what was promised. We booked this venue (over six hours from home) for the specific aesthetic and package we were sold: wooden tables and gold cavalier chairs for 120 guests.
