Our server was amazing. The setting was idyllic. The corn chowder was more like a corn and potato stew but still very good. The garlic knots were amazing. We will be going back,but probably won't reorder the corn chowder
The food was great and the venue is beautiful. The service was surprisingly poor. It took a long time to get a server to our table. We saw many other guests also looking around for anyone to serve them. Then it took forever to get our drinks. They had obviously been sitting at the bar awhile and had warmed up. We basically never saw our server until we asked for the check. The busser/water cup filler was a Jamaican man who basically took care of us the whole time. The pizza looked great was told they were all out only to see them make more. The lobster roll is mid. And the service was extremely slow. I do not recommend.
The Backyard was a delight all around! Our waiter was very pleasant and gave us a little history lesson when he first came to say hello which was so fun to learn!! The burger, quesidilla, and pizza flavor profiles were absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed everything about our diner here :))
