Delicious Amberjack and Gorgeous View Nothing compares to the view and the delicious food! We spent a week in Destin and Seaside and came back to The Back Porch 3 times finding it our favorite restaurant in the Ft. Walton area. Excellent Food We ate at The Backporch the first night that we stayed in Destin. We stayed for an entire week and never found seafood that was that good. We ate at all the "famous" seafood dives, but nothing compared to The Backporch. A++++ Best Lobster that I have ever eaten.
was a customer yesterday My family ate at Back porch yesterday and was very sad. The oysters did not look like picture I found on line It looked like it had been shucked for days before it came to my table. It was over priced. $1.00 each oyster was really crappy for the price. The place was very fithy and nasty and the smelled it made me vommit. The gumbo was not what we expected as it is written on the menu. It was eatible but nothing more. We know for sure that we won't be there ever again.
My favorite resturant in Destin My family use to have a condo in Destin and everytime we went as soon as I got there I wanted to eat the Backporch. The food is awesome especially the crab legs!
A Great Place with a View This is a great beachfront restaurant with all the fixins. Try a softshell crab sandwich with fries and finish it off with an ice cold beer or a good salty margarita...
great atmosphere This is really a wonderful place to just sit and watch the waves roll in on the beach. You can feel the breeze and watch the gulls and sunset if you are there in the evening. The food is good too.
Local love This is a place where i know most of the locals agree is one of the best places to go after a long day at the beach. It is right on the gulf and a great place to watch the sunset. The food is absolutely delicious.
