Awesome sandwiches and a real beautiful atmosphere.
My partner and I live in the neighborhood and stop by often. We stopped by to grab a bite and drinks last night, not expecting a packed house. Despite the crowd, Roz was able to find a seat for us, which was so kind! Even with everyone going non-stop the entire time we were there, everything came out perfect. An experience to say the least… grateful for karaoke cause that’s the only thing that saved us. Reservation was for 745. We arrived early and waited for our table to be cleared and clean. This was easily our favorite meal in Salem. The Babe is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas and has a completely different feel from the hustle and bustle around Essex Street. It’s tucked into a neighborhood and very unassuming, with a casual neighborhood-bar vibe and a small, laid-back patio.
