My wife and I stayed in The Havilah Room this past weekend while in town for a wedding, To describe The Babcock House in three words we would use peaceful, picturesque, and delightful! The host are pleasant and so welcoming with a focus on making sure not only is your stay grand but that it fits the goals you had for it, be that a quite morning playing board games on the screened in porch or meeting fellow BNBers and hearing the history of the local area. I recently had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The home is situated on a beautiful property and one evening I saw a flock of deer playing out back. I felt at home as a guest in this living piece of history. A step back in time with old charm. Talia and Charles really pour the hearts into this home. The food was incredible (see pictures). Amazing. We came here on a wim 4 years ago and webe been showing up ever since. The personal attention is amazing. The food is excellent and the rooms are so comfotable. You have to try it and I'll bet you'll get hooked
That innkeepers Talia and Charles are pleasant and helpful The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The chef prepared 4 course dinner was amazing. It was a restful, relaxing stay.
