We booked a room for our anniversary for a single night and it was lovely. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We loved the large screened in porch as we sat out there enjoying a bottle of wine without having to deal with bugs. Breakfast was delicious and prepared specifically to our plant based needs. High praise for this beautiful B&B!
My Husband and I had an Amazing time at The Babcock House. I needed accommodations for two days and a first floor room and I was able to call and request exactly what we needed. Check in was so easy. The location was my hometown where I was born and raised so it was nice to show my husband where I grew up. Breakfast was delicious Saturday and Sunday.. I would recommend this location to anyone. This is our second stay and we are excited to reserve our next trip.. Thank You The Inn at Babcock House
Beware of having to cancel! I gave them 2 months notice. They are not kind enough to refund if you are very unwell and can't make it. I have cancelled 20 accommodations across America this week because my husband is very sick. No problems with any of them except Babcock House. We are coming from Australia so it's unlikely we can do this trip in the next six months so it's not a helpful deal. I am sure it's a very nice place to stay though.
I've stayed here a couple of times. The home has a nice feel to it overall. One of the owners is a chief and I have found the breakfast to be quite good on both occasions.
We visited the Babcock House for one night on our visit of Appomattox. It was a very charming bed-and-breakfast that should be known not only for their wonderful hospitality, but also for their amazing food! I highly recommend ordering the four course dinner with your room! I highly recommend staying here. If we are ever in the area again, we will return!
