We had a lovely stay at Babcock House! Our room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, and we enjoyed the shared spaces as well. We had two delicious breakfasts and a fantastic dinner. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, really tending to every detail. The location is great for exploring Appomattox. I highly recommend staying here and make sure you sign up for dinner too!

We had a very relaxing 2 night stay at this historic bed and breakfast. We knew we would be a bit late arriving on our first night, so we ordered a Southern Cheese board to be waiting in our room. The board included cheese, fruit, bread and apple butter… a perfect snack. We had Dinner the next night which was a well planned and delicious multi- course fare. We booked a room for our anniversary for a single night and it was lovely. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We loved the large screened in porch as we sat out there enjoying a bottle of wine without having to deal with bugs. Breakfast was delicious and prepared specifically to our plant based needs. High praise for this beautiful B&B!
