Unfortunately this was not a good fit for me. Most groups are lectures. Process group was once a day but most of the time it was a mixed group which made it a bit uncomfortable for men and women to share. Census was low while I was there so they cut back on staff which affected nursing to counselors. They do believe in medicating. I went in on 4 medications and left on 13. This was my 5th treatment center. Ive never left before my time was up. I did here. I just couldn't stay. Ive read thru the reviews and most are good. The... read more

The place was ok. The food was ok. The rooms were ok, the property was ok. The staff was just ok. The buildings were pretty badly needing repairs and could use a professional cleaning crew every once in a while. Brian Adam's the ceo.... well. You can form your own opinion. The staff at the Aviary, particularly the wonderful nurses, were a crucial factor in my experience. The program's structure is solid if you listen, learn and keep an open mind. The group experience was average, although some were much better than others. All in all, I am very grateful that I found a place to heal and clear my mind. I have to say the food is average, and the "barn" needs central air. I had to leave a few times because of the heat. However, I needed help, and I found it here.

I’m incredibly thankful for my experience at The Aviary Recovery Center! I began my recovery journey on January 1st, and I truly couldn’t be more pleased with how everything has gone. The staff were supportive and compassionate, the accommodations were comfortable, and the food was genuinely delicious. The aftercare programs (IOP/OP) have played a huge role in helping me stay on track with my recovery. And a big shoutout to Andy, the Alumni Coordinator, for keeping us all connected and organizing fun activities that bring us... read more
