Excellent service today.
I have received one medication in my monthly prescription that I no longer need for a long long time ago. I have informed the Chanterlands Avenue Pharmacy (Hull) when I was collecting the medication. The pharmacy has kept this medication. I asked them to inform The Avenues Medical Centre, but they told me I had to tell them myself. I'm trying to email the information (I prefer it in writing), but there's no email address on The Avenues Medical Center's website, only a local phone number in the "Contact Us" section. I cannot get appointment for the last 2 months trying. Neither by pop in to the centre, nor over the phone. Strangely enough few times I visited centre there was NO-ONE waiting to be seen. Not a one patient on the many empty chairs. What is going on? 6 months ago I have never had a problem to book an appointment. Whatever changed it's for a worse. I thought it was a good place before, sadly no longer.
Highly recommend if your looking for a GP practice you look some place else. You can never get a face to face they cancel appointments booked in advance and don't offer another one. The reception staff don't know what they are doing. Doctors don't let you finish what your saying before they put the phone down on you awful service
