I moved in Avenues at Steele Creek a week ago. (8/11/25 - move in date) (8/22/25 - review date). I moved from out of state. One of the main things I did before moving was look at reviews for places that seemed nice. The main thing I wanted to avoid was roaches. Coming from Wisconsin, I’ve never had roaches in my life. Within the first 3 days of me moving in, I saw roaches. I’m so mad! The move in cost is already high. It was more to move in than the actual rent. This place is a COMPLETE JOKE!! do yourself a favor and skip this place ! There is always an issue. The trash area and other areas in the community is always a mess it looks like a dump !! management is aware that residents uses a area of the community as a personal ashtray 100s of cigarettes are thrown over the balcony! Still has yet to be cleaned up . Kia and Derrick love to say that they will follow up and they never do. Half ass repairs like stuffing a door with cardboard instead of actually replacing it.
