I decided not to take the apartment because of the condition it was in. It appeared very old and there was visible mold throughout the unit. They attempted to do a last-minute touch-up on the day of move-in, but it was clear the issues were not properly addressed. As a result, I declined the apartment and chose to move elsewhere.
