If you'd like to hear your upstairs neighbor's daily routine in detail, this is the perfect place for you (yes, that's sarcasm). The only real advantage of this place is its location. It's close to Winter Garden, and the West Orange Trail is right across the street.

I had a less than satisfactory apartment tour appointment today. I drove almost an hour for my scheduled tour and arrived early. The associate that “helped” me, spent less than 15 mins with me and told me she only had time to show me one unit because she was timed and had another appointment at 12:30…. Note that it was 11:42 when we finished up. I’m very disappointed but I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

I’ve lived in the Sycamore and while the apartment itself is nice aesthetically, living here has been disappointing overall, especially for the price point (almost $2,400/month). Since moving in, there has been a major silverfish problem, especially in the bathroom. For a community charging this much, pest issues like this shouldn’t be ongoing. I want to say this review will be honest and based on my entire experience at Avenue on Oakland. When my husband and I initially moved in, within the first few days we noticed roaches. I contacted management and they were barely interested in getting the issue resolved.I never heard back from the property manager on site or the assistant property manager.
