Extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with this venue. I was charged/left out of pocket by around $2,000 and despite multiple attempts to contact them to resolve the issue, I received no meaningful response.
DO NOT BOOK. Thank you to others who reviewed, so I knew what was happening and I could find another venue in time. This venue is closed and they have been uncontactable since I made my booking and paid the deposit.
!!!!!DO NOT BOOK!!!!!! Would give 0 stars if it was possible. They have supposedly gone into voluntary shutdown due to licensing issues, and have neglected to contact me, 1 week before celebrating my 30th birthday party there. I only found out because the catering company (thank god for them) that they work with realised that they have not been informing their customers. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place looked lovely and we were very excited to work with them. However, they canceled our venue due to "unforeseen circumstances" 5 days prior to our 21st Birthday Party event. They did not give a proper reason why, just canceled. If you want to risk it and work with them, make sure you have a backup. Now we are frantically organising last minute! Not happy with the level of unprofessionalism from the aVenue.
Hosted my 40th at the aVenue and couldn't be happier! Thank you to all the team that were involved! The night was epic thanks to you :)
