When our kiddo was almost 3, we had been on three different waitlists for months, hoping to get an autism evaluation. It was a scary and uncertain time for us. On a whim, I called the autism clinic just to ask about getting speech therapy while we waited for a diagnosis. That call turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Not only did they get us in for a diagnosis within a week, but they also helped make autism feel less scary—for all of us. We will never be able to thank the autism clinic at Hope enough.
Beware!! My daughter attended this location for about a month. She is fully potty trained and had no problems at her previous ABA provider. She began experiencing accidents a week after starting. I tried to open an authorization for another assessment with another provider to get a second opinion on some concerns. This location discharged her because I asked that they allow for her to have a secondary assessment. Sad.
