I just moved here from America with my husband and my three year-old son but I have dual citizenship and my family has been going here since I was a kid like no joke. I know that place inside and out and it’s the best everyone there is so nice and there’s so many regulars that you can get to know and make so many new friends so if you’re looking for a pub because there are plenty to choose from I understand that, definitely try here
Ate dinner there last Sunday the 16th November 2025 had the chicken schnitzel with garlic sauce. It was average going down and very ordinary comming back up the next day!!! Had food poisoning, won't be going back!!
The Australian Hotel Kitchen & Pizzeria, located on Wollombi Rd, Cessnock. We have been ordering takeaway from ‘The Aussie’ since recent renovation’s. The team welcome phone orders, make it easy, and ready to collect 15/20 minutes. Our personal go too is by far the Chicken Snitzel (large) salad, chips and gravy. It is the BEST in town, hands down, it’s always tender, crumb is delicious, and there is absolutely nothing left over.
