My mother was one of the first patience to live at The Aurora Home. It is a true family atmosphere. My mother enjoyed it so much she hated to come home to visit with me and my family and when she did, she was anixious to get back to The Aurora Home.
My mother broke her hip and was in need to care. I contacted the Aurora Home to setup and appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The Administrator has over 35 years of nursing experience and holds a Master's Degree in Nursing. She even teaches classes at some of the major Universities in the area. There is someone at the house 24 hours a day and the Administrator lives right next door. That was the appeal to me and I placed my mother there while she was recouperating. Mother thoroughly enjoyed her stay.
