We just had our wedding at the August house, with all our family and friends staying there as well. It is hard to even describe how amazing the August house is. I’ll start with the bedrooms, the beds are the most comfortable and beautiful and so clean you could eat off the floor. We were in room 1 and getting ready in the suite on the day of was perfect. Wir sind begeistert! Ein wundervolles Haus mit sehr viel Charme und Liebe zum Detail. Für Europäer eine wirkliche Ausnahme in Nova Scotia! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück war sehr gut! Herzlichen Dank an das tolle Team vom The August House!
Very cute hotel with thoughtful exta perks. Clean comfortable rooms and nice breakfast to start off the day. The only downside was that our stay there was not long enough! We would love to visit again and also try the fire pit and spend more time enjoying the records in the lounge.
The hotel is a lovely renovated building, very well maintained. The staff is great and we enjoyed our 2-night stay. The room are cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was divine: fresh and a bit different every morning. We'd come back.
We went to Windsor for a very short trip and stayed only over night in 'The August house'. I was expecting a good stay, as of other reviews and he price. I didn't expect a fabulous stay, with a great elegantplace and rooms. Tall sealings, relaxing corners and books everywhere, kind and friendly service, constant communication if you have a question and two great outdoor sauna. As a European i relly felt welcome and will 100% go back sooner than later. Thank you very much for the welcome and stay!
