This is a great local bar. They have several Alaskan beers on tap & fun shirts for sale. The owner & staff are very welcoming.
Had a gin and tonic. Tonic was flat so I didn't bother drinking and left. I felt really uncomfortable letting the bar staff know because she was unfriendly. There were no prices I could see, so I had no idea what I was paying and if tip was included, again I didn't feel comfortable asking. If you are not a local American and have no idea how everything works, this can be a bit confronting. I came here because of the great reviews but wouldn't recommend. Cute dog.
I've seen this place from the cruise ship numerous times. So recognizable by the picture of Jack Nicholson in the window. My late father and brother both saw it too but never had the chance to see it. Had a beer for Dad and a shot of Jameson for my brother. Party on Asylum.
Food from Debbie's was excellent!! Plan for a little extra time when busy. Nice stop when visiting on a cruise.
