We rented The Ashlar for our reception and had such a great experience! The location is beautiful, with the venue overlooking Red Mill Pond, and it made for such a nice backdrop. One of the biggest advantages for us was the flexibility of the rental. We had access the day before to set everything up and were able to come back the following day to clean up. We had our wedding at the Ashlar; it's a pretty outdoor space and that's about it. We had a HORRIBLE time connecting with anyone during the entirety of planning, nobody seemed to know who was in charge/couldn't give me information until the week of the wedding. I think it would really behoove them to have a secretary for the building, someone there during events to help!
