The Arts Gallery at Collin College is an amazing opportunity for student artists. The shows change frequently and the level of work is excellent! The teachers at Collin desire to see students succeed and help in every way possible. Collin College gets an A+ in my book.

I give Collin College located in Plano and Frisco, Texas an F-. The professors from other countries were the worst because they had terrible English and articulation skills. Their lectures were often very ineffective. Their attitudes often snide, abrasive, and callous. They treated me with snide disregard a few times. That doesnt mean the non-foreign professors were any good either. My government professor who did speak good English would rarely lecture to the class nor would she provide practical details that I could use la... read more

The financial aid dept at Spring Creek is aweful. The grey haired lady with the loud voice is extremely rude, stay away, go to another campus. There are never enough people to help the student population. Once you get past the insufficiency of the administrative side on all aspects, the professors are great. I wish the president of the school read these reviews.
Horrible adminstration office. Lost my transcripts more than once. Spent countless hours trying to register. Gettng help from the admin office is like getting help at the DMV. Very unprofessional and even the management is very hard to deal with and very unwilling to help. Spend hours trying to register for one class, then they had my records mixed up with someone else! College ok but hope you never need the admin depts help!

Best kept secret; however the person responsible for bringing in the public need to work harder to let the Dallas/Plano/Allen/Frisco/, basically the surrounding area to know that the Arts gallery is fabulous. Unfortunatley they do a mediocre job of notifying people. CCCCD has a foundry for artists who want to do metal scullpture, some as large as 15 feet. The clay sculpture classes are superb, the printing making has so many talented students and a great professor. I have seen the great work of painters in that department, d... read more
