I had a very disappointing experience with Mayflower Armstrong (Baton Rouge) and their New Orleans partner Crescent City Moving. I paid about $10,000 for a full-service move and expected the professional standards associated with the Mayflower Armstrong name. Unfortunately, many of the basic standards were not followed. If for some reason, you MUST use this company, please do yourself a favor and buy the premium insurance package they peddle because YOU WILL NEED IT! 4 months since our move with Armstrong Relocation in Baton Rouge and we are STILL working out the settlement with United Corporate for the damage done to our personal property. This company does not care about you or your property; they will tell you anything you want to hear to get your contract signed and your money in their hands. We relocated with Armstrong 2 1/2 years ago. The movers dropped some of our furniture down our stairs and cause damage to the stairwell, walls and ceiling. They also drug the furniture across our hardwood floors causing dense throughout. We submitted the claim as we were instructed. Over the course of 2 1/2 years they’ve had people come out and look.
