A stunning property. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
When I entered there, I was thrilled and amazed. Are we really going to spend the night at the museum? I forgot about the fatigue, walked and studied every detail. A huge room with very high ceilings. Fresh flowers in vases everywhere. Antique furniture, paintings on the walls, interior items worthy of the museum's exposition. We spent our honeymoon at this beautifully renovated church, and the stay was absolutely magical. The care poured into the restoration is evident in every detail. The highlight for us was the gorgeous clawfoot bath—a perfect spot to relax and soak while surrounded by the church’s vintage charm. Freshly cut flowers decorating the bathrooms added an elegant and thoughtful touch, and the soothing scent of aged wood and jacarandas blooming along the street created a serene, picturesque atmosphere. 5 stars seems an understatement for my stay. The building has an atmosphere that I did not want leave, I ventured out to enjoy the neighboouring towns - Junee Chocolate Factory and the opposite way to Narrandera but was keen to get back and enjoy to peacefulness of the old church. I used it as a base for a few days on a motorcycle and Merrin was most accomodating offering off st parking for my bike.Everything you could ask for was on hand and I look forward to returning.
