I am a co-signor for my daughter who has resided there since Aug 2020. She has a ****** ***** apartment that floods in every heavy rainfall. This soaks the carpet in the family room as well as her roommates bedroom. Management refuses to deal with it. Save yourself this place is trash, the management is trash, and the area is trash. Live anywhere else, it will save you money and give you peace of mind. Started off excited to live with my buddies for my last year of college but then I moved into the arch, Fort Wayne. They offered move-in credit for whoever you referred to live at the arch and my buddy who already lived there referred us so he could get rent credit. My daughter is a student and resides at the ARCH of Fort Wayne which is predominately student housing. I am concerned about the safety and health of my daughter and future residents of this housing complex. I am the guarantor for her lease at 6255 St Joe Road. Since she moved into her apartment last August 2019, she has had 5 separate issues with flooding...water entering her apartment from the exterior of the building. I do not recommend this complex. They show you a nice clean room, but when I moved in it was dirty & the carpet needed cleaned. It takes weeks for maintenance to make repairs, I had to go elsewhere to do laundry for over 2 weeks. They advertise as a gated complex, but the gates didn't work 90% of the time. During the winter they don't even keep the sidewalks clear of snow. If anything needs replaced that has been damaged, they charged well above the standard cost. The Arch is a perfect example of baiting young renters into leases using cheap rates and then turning around at the end of the term to make a payday off various 'damage' charges. With no deposit and low monthly rent, The Arch puts itself in a good position to lease to young people, including college students.
