Today, my 12-year-old children were banned from playing badminton. The staff said they are under 14 and need adult supervision in the court. I said I'll come back with my boy (he is outside the building) within 10 minutes. Would these kids just go in and play? Two staff in reception were rude and asked them to wait at entrance until I came back. Fortunately, I met my friend in court and supervised my children for awhile. Good facilities but the 55+ plan vs classes makes no sense. Classes during the limited day are full with long waitlists. Aqua classes specifically. But evening Aqua classes are underbooked. Ironically 55+ who needs these classes can't use them due to them being outside 55+ hours. So what in practice can a 55+ person access with 11+ people regularly on waitlist ? Offering lower fees makes zero sense in this context unless its designed to frustrate then i get it. Ethically they should allow 55+ ppl evening classes or stop sell... read more
