The location is amazing, but each room is owned by someone else, so be aware. Stayed in 804 and definitely not worth the price. Broken balcony screens, balcony screens wouldn't even close because they were broken/off track. Can tell no one is keeping up. When I told the vrbo contact, they said they didn't know. Stool holding up night table with light in it. No warning so when we went to use the stool, the night table was coming off the wall. Super old towels. Expected way more for this price point. My girlfriend and I travel quite a bit. The most amazing experience is always the people we meet. Erin was the number one positive from our trip at Apollo. She welcomed us as if we were family. That means the world to us. Thank you Erin.
Your stay will be comprised 90% of whatever independently owned unit you rent and if the owner cares to keep it updated and clean. We've stayed in 2 separate units and sometimes the TVs won't work, the couch and chairs are full of stains, holes in the wall, smells in the showers, etc. and a bunch of other issues. Roll your dice with each unit and then there's the front desk and the property manager. You may get the the lady at the front desk who is rude to everyone and treats people like idiots or the other woman who is nice... read more
Always a lovely time at the Apollo. My family has been staying here annually for over 5 years. This year there were some visible upgrades in the lobby as well as our room. Erin from the front desk was super helpful with any and all needs we had. I will definitely continue to book at the Apollo.
I just wanted to say that the actual staff at Apollo are fantastic and came through when the condo we rented came with a broken shower and we couldn't get in contact with the VRBO renter (room 305 BTW). They made sure we felt safe (as we are both women) when we used the gym shower. It ended up taking 5 days for us to get through to the condo owner and him to send a plumber.
